Cohesity launches Agent Resilience to protect AI agent infrastructure

Cohesity has introduced Cohesity Agent Resilience, a new capability within the Cohesity Data Cloud designed to discover, protect, and recover the infrastructure supporting enterprise AI agents. The tool aims to address the recovery gap that occurs when AI agents change, corrupt, or delete data. Currently, the service supports Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon Bedrock Agents, with plans to integrate Microsoft and Google agent platforms in the future. General availability for the capability is targeted for the end of 2026.

In addition to the new tool, Cohesity outlined a vision for Autonomous Cyber Resilience, which utilizes agentic workflows to automate a five-step framework: protecting data, identity, applications, and agents; ensuring recoverability; remediating threats; practicing application recovery; and optimizing risk posture. To support these developments, the company also launched the Cohesity AI Resilience Academy, offering a free course to help organizations manage risks as AI systems transition from advisory roles to taking autonomous actions.
