Cohesity names Peter Hanna Vice President & General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan

Cohesity announced that Peter Hanna will become Vice President of Sales and General Manager for its Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, based in Hong Kong. He will assume the role on 1 August 2026 and will direct sales strategy, technical sales execution, channel operations and growth initiatives across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, ASEAN, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Hanna, who has led Cohesity’s partner and alliances sales organization in APJ for nearly three years, will report to senior vice president and international general manager Mark Nutt.

Hanna brings more than two decades of experience in security‑solution sales, previously holding senior regional positions at VMware and Dell EMC. Nutt said APJ is strategically vital for Cohesity’s growth, while Hanna described the appointment as a pivotal moment for the data‑security industry.
