Coi Leray reveals physical altercation with Latto's sister

During an appearance on ‘The Jason Lee Show’ on September 16, 2026, rapper Coi Leray provided new details regarding her long-standing feud with Latto. Leray revealed that the tension, which began in April 2023, escalated into a physical confrontation behind the scenes between Leray and Latto’s sister, Brooklyn Nikole.

Leray described the incident as ‘a whole fistfight’ and stated that she re-injured her knee during the altercation. According to Leray, Brooklyn Nikole was defending her sister, while Leray believed she was defending herself. The conflict originated from a lyric in Latto’s song ‘Put It on da Floor,’ in which Latto rapped, ‘Smokin’ on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray.’ Leray expressed discomfort with being used for ‘clout’ or ‘clickbait’ through references she felt were confrontational.

Leray noted that she eventually reached out to Latto to resolve the issue while Latto was pregnant, stating she had put her pride aside to squash the beef. She also indicated that she is now open to a potential musical collaboration with Latto.
