COIL posts 3.2% revenue increase in H1 2026 amid market volatility
COIL, the world leader in continuous aluminium anodising, reported consolidated first‑half 2026 revenue of €8.9 million, a 3.2% increase over the same period a year earlier. Subcontracting sales rose 10.7% to €7.7 million, now accounting for 86% of total revenue, while packaged sales fell 27.4% to €1.2 million, representing 14% of the half‑year turnover.
The company said the results were achieved despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties, particularly in the Middle East, and persistent volatility in aluminium and raw‑material prices, which have kept metal distributors cautious and delayed some client investments. COIL expects activity in the second half of 2026 to be comparable to the first half, but notes that the higher base set in the latter half of 2025 could lead to annual revenue below the €19.4 million recorded in 2025. The firm continues to shift its operating model toward subcontracting, reinforcing resilience and competitiveness, with more than 100 employees in Belgium and Germany.
