Coimbra restores “Café Curto” music cycle at Convento São Francisco

The “Café Curto” music cycle is returning to the Café Concerto at Convento São Francisco in Coimbra. The program, which runs through the end of the year, focuses on supporting emerging music and artistic creation.

Curated by Blue House and co-produced by Convento São Francisco, the initiative is funded by the Coimbra City Council. The weekly showcases are free to the public and are scheduled for Tuesdays from 19:30 to 20:00.

The schedule begins on September 8 with Dela Marmy, followed by Sara Cruz on September 15. Other upcoming performers include Beatriz Madruga, Carlos Raposo, Mariana Camacho, Bernardo Couto, and Mafalda. The program also features the return of MIC (Música Independente de Coimbra) in October and continues through December with various artists including Clara Maio, Polar Opposites, and LIKA.
