Coinbase Adds Native INJ Trading, Deposit and Withdrawal Support
Coinbase has enabled support for the native INJ token of the Injective Protocol, allowing users to trade, deposit and withdraw the asset directly on its platform. The rollout covers the token in its original form rather than a wrapped or bridged version, meaning transfers occur on the Injective blockchain and users can move INJ in and out of Coinbase without relying on third‑party bridges.
The addition follows a recent listing of INJ on Coinbase, which has helped raise the token’s visibility; at the time of reporting INJ was trading around $5.16 with a market capitalization of roughly $514 million. Analysts note that the technical structure of INJ remains strong, with support near $5.05 and resistance around $5.84, and the new exchange support could facilitate further price movement.
Coinbase’s announcement emphasizes the need for traders to verify that deposit and withdrawal addresses correspond to the native Injective network to avoid loss. The move is seen as a step toward broader accessibility of the Injective ecosystem for Coinbase’s U.S. user base.
