Coinbase establishes partnerships with PNC, JPMorgan Chase, and Citi

Coinbase has secured strategic partnerships with major financial institutions including PNC, JPMorgan Chase, and Citi to integrate cryptocurrency services into traditional banking frameworks.

PNC has launched a Bitcoin service for eligible private banking clients, allowing them to buy, sell, and hold BTC directly through the bank’s digital platform. This service utilizes Coinbase’s ‘Crypto-as-a-Service’ infrastructure to provide custody and trading capabilities within a controlled environment.

JPMorgan Chase’s agreement focuses on account connectivity, covering credit card funding, rewards redemption, and direct bank account links to Coinbase. Meanwhile, Citi’s collaboration centers on business payments, supporting virtual accounts and merchant stablecoin payments with settlement in traditional currencies.
