Cointreau launches new spicy orange liqueur

Maison Cointreau has introduced Cointreau Spicy, a new variation of its signature orange liqueur. Produced in Angers, France, the spirit maintains the brand’s traditional balance of sweet and bitter oranges while incorporating a progressive heat.

The recipe features a 30% ABV orange liqueur combined with a maceration of bird pepper and natural flavors of chili pepper, jalapeño, and cucumber. This blend is designed to provide a vegetal and herbaceous dimension alongside the citrus notes, specifically aimed at adding intensity to cocktails like the Margarita.
