COISP Union Calls for Increased Police Staffing in Lamezia Terme

The COISP Calabria and Catanzaro regional and provincial secretariats have issued a formal request to increase the personnel at the Lamezia Terme Police Commissioner's office. The union is calling for a minimum of 100 officers to manage the area's complex economic and infrastructural demands.

While praising the recent operational successes of the local police in protecting citizen safety and legality, union representatives Raffaele Maurotti and Francesco Spizzirri emphasized that these achievements are being made despite structural criticalities. They noted that the current staff faces exhausting shifts and constant pressure due to the strategic importance of the Lamezia Terme territory.
