Cojusna students star in new film about bullying and empathy

Students from the Alecu Russo Theoretical Lyceum in Cojusna, Moldova, are starring in a new feature film titled ‘Cocorii din hârtie’ (Paper Kites). The production focuses on themes of bullying, empathy, and the importance of solidarity.

The story centers on David, a schoolboy who is a victim of bullying and lives with his deaf-mute mother. The role of David is played by 9-year-old Emanuel Covali. Other local students, including Maria-Andreea Braga, have taken on various roles, navigating the challenges of film production such as repetitive takes and managing large crowds on set.

Online personality Elisoa Cynthia also participates in the production, playing the role of the class teacher.
