Erciyes University to launch National Technology Workshop

Erciyes University is preparing to launch a National Technology Workshop designed to help students transform ideas into production. The project is being realized through the university's infrastructure and approximately 30-35 million TL in support from TÜBİTAK.

The facility is designed to accommodate about 60 students simultaneously for project work and practical applications. Technical equipment includes CNC systems, laser cutting devices, lathes, 3D printers, and electronic circuit development and measurement systems. This allows students to move from computer-aided designs to physical prototypes and full production within a single facility.

University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun emphasized the importance of applied training, stating that the experience gained will prepare students for more ambitious projects. The center also includes collaborative spaces, meeting rooms, and presentation halls to foster project management and teamwork skills.
