COL Group and CP Group partner to grow Thailand’s short-form drama industry

COL Group and CP Group have entered into a 360-degree partnership to develop Thailand’s short-form drama industry. The collaboration integrates creative training, local content production, and distribution into a single initiative.

A central component of the deal is a talent incubation program conducted alongside a Thai academic institution. This program aims to connect emerging creative talent with the short-form entertainment sector to expand the industry's talent pipeline.

The partnership also includes a ‘Thai Remake Collaboration,’ where selected titles from the libraries of COL Group and FlareFlow will be adapted for Thai audiences. These remakes will feature Thai characters, settings, and language, utilizing AIGC-enabled production tools for localization.

Regarding distribution, FlareFlow will launch a dedicated branded section called ‘FlareFlow Mini’ within Tatang by TrueID, a short-form drama application operated by True Corporation. This section is scheduled to launch in September and will feature a weekly updated catalogue of vertical dramas.
