Colacem celebrates 60 years in the cement industry

Colacem, a prominent Italian cement company, is celebrating its 60th anniversary following its founding on September 16, 1966, by brothers Pasquale, Giovanni, Franco, and Carlo Colaiacovo. Originally established in Gubbio, the company has grown into a major player in the Italian cement sector with an international presence.

The anniversary coincides with a new phase for the company, marked by a recent renewal of its governance aimed at addressing future challenges. CEOs Carlo and Ubaldo Colaiacovo stated that the company is prepared to tackle environmental, energy, and digital transformations through investment and innovation.

To mark the milestone, Colacem has launched a program of initiatives, including cultural projects and meetings, which will continue through September 2027.
