Cold July weather chills Polish tourists on Baltic Sea coast

In early July 2026, Polish families vacationing along the Baltic coast reported unusually cool weather, with temperatures around 16 °C and frequent rain. One visitor from Łódź said, "We were expecting summer heat, but it feels like autumn and we fear our daughter will catch a cold." Others expressed disappointment after coming from hotter destinations, noting they preferred the milder conditions to the 30 °C heat elsewhere. Forecasts predict strong winds and possible stormy seas later in the week, though a brief improvement in temperature is expected toward the weekend.

Despite the damp conditions, some tourists remain optimistic, enjoying walks and local attractions while awaiting better beach weather.
