Colíder launches support group for pregnant women

The Colíder City Hall has launched the ‘Gerando Amor’ (Generating Love) pregnant women's group through the Social Assistance Reference Center (Cras). This initiative is part of the Integral Family Protection and Assistance Service (Paif) and aims to provide guidance, social interaction, and experience sharing regarding pregnancy and newborn care.

According to Municipal Social Assistance Secretary Michele Schenkel, the program focuses on daily life issues, offering a space for participants to voice doubts and share realities. The first meeting covered the importance of prenatal monitoring and pregnancy care. Future sessions are scheduled to address healthy pregnancy, postpartum care, mental health, and maternity insurance, alongside craft workshops to foster community bonds.
