Coldiretti and Campagna Amica donate food parcels in Abruzzo
Coldiretti and Campagna Amica have launched a solidarity initiative in the Abruzzo region of Italy, donating 400 food parcels to families facing economic hardship. The gift baskets contain various Italian food products, including Parmigiano, prosciutto, pecorino, honey, lentils, meat, chickpeas, milk, and beans.
Deliveries are being coordinated through Campagna Amica markets in Pescara, Chieti, and Teramo during the Christmas period. Silvano Di Primio, president of Coldiretti Abruzzo, noted that the initiative aims to support those affected by economic difficulties, specifically highlighting elderly individuals in absolute poverty, workers who lost jobs due to the coronavirus emergency, small business owners, and those without public subsidies or savings.
