The organization highlighted its efforts to sensitize farmers regarding the legal status of foreign workers and provide legal guidance to help migrants integrate and avoid exploitation.

During the discussions, Coldiretti addressed the ongoing labor shortage in the agricultural sector. The organization criticized the current implementation of the ‘Decreto Flussi’, noting a decline in applications from farmers. They argued that complex procedures and uncertain timelines are hindering the ability of agricultural businesses to secure necessary legal labor.
