Coldiretti Mantova to host conference on carbon factor in Asola

Coldiretti Mantova will host a conference titled ‘Carbon Factor: the new pact between agriculture and citizens for tomorrow’s planet’ on October 30 in Asola. The event, held at the Asola Town Hall, aims to promote sustainable agriculture that balances environmental, economic, and social needs through alliances between farms and local communities.

Speakers will address various aspects of the green transition. Samuele Lonati of Flf Bioenergia will discuss European and Italian regulatory frameworks, while Professor Giulia Ferronato from the University of Brescia will cover ecological transition technologies, specifically emission reduction in livestock and the use of biogas and biomethane. Additionally, Vincenzo Quereni from Crédit Agricole will examine the role of banking institutions in supporting agricultural enterprises through ESG certifications and risk management. The session will conclude with remarks from Fabio Mantovani, president of the Coldiretti Mantova provincial federation.
