Larino Fiera d’Ottobre concludes with increased attendance

The 283rd edition of the Fiera d’Ottobre in Larino has concluded, reporting a significant increase in visitor numbers compared to recent years. This year’s event introduced a new ‘FieraFiliera’ format, focusing specifically on the olive oil supply chain, covering everything from cultivation and research to commercialization and promotion.

Coldiretti Molise and its foundation, Campagna Amica, played a central role by promoting local agro-food products and ‘Km zero’ specialties. The event served as a platform for regional identity, showcasing local craftsmanship and olive oil excellence. The exhibition also featured a dedicated village for direct sales and traditional street food.

The fair included academic contributions from the University of Molise, with experts discussing the history, culture, and future of olive growing and oliver tourism in the region. Additionally, the Arsiam panel test recognized Molisir, D’Ama, and Colonna as winning olive oils. The opening ceremony was attended by Molise Region President Francesco Roberti and Senator Costanzo Della Porta.
