Coldiretti Reggio Emilia launches bi-weekly farmer's market

Coldiretti Reggio Emilia is launching a new bi-weekly farmer's market in the San Prospero Strinati neighborhood. The initiative, organized through the Campagna Amica network, aims to promote direct sales from local producers and foster social cohesion within the urban community.

Starting Wednesday, September 2, the market will operate from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Participating farms will offer seasonal products, including fresh fruit, vegetables, honey, wine, and oil. The project has received approval from the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, with Coldiretti assuming the organizational responsibilities.

Alessandro Corchia, director of Coldiretti Reggio Emilia, stated that the first few months will serve as a trial period to evaluate public interest and determine the long-term viability of the market.
