Cole Caufield ranks ninth among NHL’s top wingers

The NHL Network released its weekly Top 20 Wings list, highlighting the Montreal Canadiens' Cole Caufield at ninth place. Caufield, who scored 50 goals in the 2025‑2026 season and was not selected for the Olympics, became the first Canadiens winger to break into the top ten.

The list’s top three remain Nikita Kucherov, David Pastrnak and Kirill Kaprizov, with Mitch Marner and Mikko Rantanen completing the top five. Montreal’s offensive core also features center Nick Suzuki, while wingers Juraj Slafkovsky and Ivan Demidov missed the ranking. Players at the lower end of the list include Lucas Raymond, Cutter Gauthier, Brady Tkachuk, Clayton Keller and Jake Guentzel.

The ranking underscores Caufield’s breakout season and positions him among the league’s elite flankers.
