École Cobble Hill searches for missing mascot otter
The community of École Cobble Hill is searching for Lou, a small artisan otter sculpture that serves as the school’s mascot. The sculpture, which is typically displayed in a flower pot at the front of the school, has been missing since at least September 25.
Jennifer Currie, chairperson of the school’s Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), noted that the mascot was last seen near Drifters Creamery on September 26. The loss has been particularly felt by kindergarten students, who have a daily routine of petting the sculpture.
Local business Drifters Creamery has joined the effort, asking customers to help locate the mascot and stating that they seek its safe return with “no questions asked.” The school community is requesting that anyone with information contact the École Cobble Hill PAC.
