Cole Custer extended with Haas Factory Team for 2027
Cole Custer will remain the driver of the No. 41 Chevrolet entry for Haas Factory Team during the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series season. The team announced the extension on Friday, October 9.
Team owner Gene Haas expressed enthusiasm for the decision, describing Custer as a “championship caliber driver who brings the consistency we need on a weekly basis.”
Custer, the 2023 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series champion, is currently in his second consecutive Cup Series season with Haas Factory Team. His previous Cup Series experience includes a full-time tenure with Stewart-Haas Racing from 2020 to 2022, where he won at Kentucky Speedway and earned the 2020 Rookie of the Year title.
