Colegas e o Herdeiro film premieres as sequel to 2012 production

The film ‘Colegas e o Herdeiro’, directed by Marcelo Galvão, has premiered as a sequel to the 2012 production ‘Colegas’. The comedy-drama focuses on themes of friendship, autonomy, and inclusion, featuring a cast of actors with Down syndrome.

The plot follows the character Stalone, played by Ariel Goldenberg, who believes he is the heir to a hotel in Punta del Este, Uruguay. This belief leads to a dispute with Magrelo, an autistic young man raised by the hotel owner. Stalone invites his friends from the Instituto Santa Lúcia to join him on a trip to the country, resulting in a series of adventures and unexpected challenges.

The production features several actors, including Luiza Godoi, whose performance has earned recognition at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival. The film’s world premiere took place at the 49th São Paulo International Film Festival.
