Colegiales railway warehouse converted into new health center
The Government of the City of Buenos Aires has inaugurated CeSAC 51, a new Community Health and Action Center located in the Colegiales neighborhood. The facility was created by renovating a 274-square-meter former railway warehouse in the Parque Ferroviario Colegiales area. The renovation project cost approximately 1,333 million pesos.
The center is designed to provide primary healthcare to approximately 15,000 residents from Colegiales and surrounding areas, including Belgrano, Coghlan, Chacarita, Villa Ortúzar, and Palermo. Services offered include general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry, psychology, social work, and vaccination. The facility also provides access to specialists such as cardiology, dermatology, nutrition, psychiatry, endocrinology, and pulmonology, allowing patients to receive various treatments in a single location.
Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 17:00. Appointments can be requested in person or via the city government's official application, though dentistry and vaccination services do not require prior appointments. This opening is part of a broader municipal plan to strengthen primary care and upgrade various hospital and diagnostic facilities across the city.
