Colegio Dominicano de Odontólogos celebrates centenary with national tour

The Colegio Dominicano de Odontólogos is conducting a national tour titled ‘Vuelta al País con la Antorcha del Centenario’ to commemorate its 100th anniversary of service to oral health in the Dominican Republic.

In San Francisco de Macorís, the centenary torch was received at a ceremony held at the local monument. The initiative aims to promote unity among dental professionals and recognize their contributions to public health and oral hygiene education.

During a visit to Monte Plata, Dr. Virginia Lauriano emphasized the importance of active involvement from both authorities and citizens in preventing oral diseases. Dr. Manuela Rodríguez, representing dentists in Monte Plata, reaffirmed the local profession's commitment to service and professional unity as part of the centennial celebrations.
