Colgate and health authorities launch oral hygiene initiatives in Mexico and Chile

In Mexico, Colgate has launched an initiative to promote oral health by donating 500,000 toothbrushes to public primary school students. This action is part of the federal strategy Vive Saludable, Vive Feliz, involving the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP). The program aims to combat high rates of dental caries by providing tools and education through the Sonrisas Brillantes, Futuros Brillantes program.

In Chile, the Seremi de Salud of the Coquimbo Region has distributed 21 toothbrush holders to early childhood education centers. These tools, intended for institutions such as JUNJI and Fundación Integra, are designed to allow children to store their toothbrushes safely and hygienically. The initiative was coordinated through the Regional Oral Health Table to strengthen hygiene habits from an early age.
