Colgate and Iowa rowing teams conclude fall seasons at Princeton Chase

Colgate University and the University of Iowa concluded their fall rowing seasons at the Princeton Chase held at Lake Carnegie.

Colgate’s Men’s Varsity 8+ finished 20th out of 58 boats with a time of 13:06.739. The Men’s 4+ A boat placed 25th, while the B boat finished 22nd. The Men’s Quad was unable to complete its race after striking a log, which resulted in the loss of a fin.

The University of Iowa women’s rowing team saw several notable finishes. The top eight boat placed 12th in the women’s open eights with a time of 14:39.464, improving upon previous year marks. Other placements included 9th in the second round of women’s eights, 16th in the women’s fours, and various positions for the B, C, and D boats.
