Colgate and Norwich secure decisive men's soccer victories

In collegiate men's soccer, Colgate University secured its first Patriot League win of the season with a 4-1 victory over Navy. Alex St. John scored twice, including a highlight-reel goal in the 68th minute, while Ryan Schachter and Malik Samms also contributed goals. Freshman goalkeeper Gavin Vichengrad recorded a career-high nine saves during the match.

Separately, Norwich University earned a 4-0 shutout victory against Lasell University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play. Alessandro D'Arena opened the scoring early in the first half, followed by a second-half goal from Diego Fuentes. Brian Baek and Shea Perkins added further goals to complete the win, as Norwich dominated possession with a 19-5 advantage in shots.
