Colgate University athletics updates

Colgate University football is beginning a six-game stretch of Patriot League play following a bye week. Currently tied at the top of the league standings, the Raiders are set to host Georgetown. While Colgate holds a 20-2 all-time series advantage against the Hoyas, Georgetown won their last meeting in Washington, D.C. in October.

Recent football highlights include quarterback Jake Stearney leading a 75-yard drive to secure a victory against Harvard, and receiver Matt Fogler recording his third 100-yard game of the season. Additionally, cornerback Tymir Wynn was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week.

In field hockey, Georgetown secured a 1-0 overtime victory against Colgate to conclude a difficult weekend that included a loss to Liberty University.
