Colégio Marista Pio XII prepares students for medical careers

Colégio Marista Pio XII, a social school in Surubim, is implementing the Marista MED formative tracks to prepare high school seniors for competitive medical and health science university entrance exams. This initiative is part of the broader Marista Lidera program.

As part of the Marista Social Colleges group, the institution provides free full-time education to children and youth in situations of social vulnerability. The Marista MED project aims to democratize access to high academic performance by providing students with the same depth of study found in elite private schools. The curriculum focuses on Natural Sciences—including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics—as well as analytical reasoning and strategic preparation for the ENEM and Item Response Theory (TRI).
