Colégio Physics student uses pepper spray in Belém classroom
A student at Colégio Physics in Belém caused an incident by deploying pepper spray inside a classroom on Tuesday. The spray was directed toward the air conditioning unit, causing it to spread throughout the room.
At least ten adolescents were taken to emergency units reporting symptoms such as intense headaches, eye and facial burning, esophageal irritation, coughing, and blurred vision. One hospitalized student is reportedly allergic to pepper, increasing the severity of the medical situation. The school has contacted the Tutelary Council and decided to expel the student responsible.
