Colégio Salesianos de Lisboa: 32 hospitalized for suspected food poisoning

Thirty-two people, including 26 children, were hospitalized following a suspected case of food poisoning at Colégio Salesianos de Lisboa in the Estrela district. Emergency services were called to the school shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

According to Civil Protection, the affected individuals were transported to various hospitals across the Greater Lisbon area. This included 15 people (six adults and nine children) to Hospital de Santa Maria, 11 children to Hospital Amadora-Sintra, and six children to Hospital Dona Estefânia. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the symptoms.
