Colima educational institutes partner to combat learning gaps
The State Institute for Adult Education (IEEA) of Colima and the Instituto Tecomense de Estudios Superiores, Benito Juárez (ITESBJ) Manzanillo campus have signed an agreement to address educational lag in the state.
Under this alliance, students will engage in social service, professional internships, and volunteer work to support literacy, primary, and secondary education services. These services are aimed at individuals aged 15 and older who are illiterate or have not completed their basic education.
To fulfill their requirements, participating students must recruit and provide guidance to at least two individuals in need of education, ensuring at least one person successfully completes an educational module or level. The collaboration also includes student training, the formation of study circles, and the promotion of community learning centers.
