Colima hosts 87th Feria de Todos los Santos and Alfonso Michel Festival

The state of Colima is launching major cultural celebrations, including the 87th edition of the Feria de Todos los Santos. The fair is scheduled to inaugurate on Friday, October 30, at the Los Arcos fairgrounds. Led by Governor Indira Vizcaíno Silva and the Institute for the Promotion of Fairs and Exhibitions (Iffecol), the event features a series of free concerts at the Main Forum. Scheduled performers include Yuri, El Gran Silencio, Grupo Bronco, Gran Show Mix Kids, Banda El Recodo, and Ricardo Montaner.

Simultaneously, the Alfonso Michel Cultural Festival is underway, organized by the State Subsecretariat of Culture. A recent multidisciplinary concert, ‘Pasaporte Sinfónico: viaje por las músicas del mundo’, featured over 100 artists, including various youth symphony orchestras and the Ensamble Scenic Dance Company. The festival continues through October 31 with free performances at the Teatro Hidalgo, featuring guest companies from Michoacán, San Luis Potosí, and Colombia.
