Colima launches Gran Venta Nocturna book sale

The Colima State Government, in coordination with the Fondo de Cultura Económica (FCE), has launched the Gran Venta Nocturna 2026. The event is held at the Casa de la Cultura Estatal and the Museo Palacio de Colima.

The initiative offers discounts of up to 50% across more than 30 publishing houses. The program includes book presentations, musicalized readings, and concerts. According to Culture Undersecretary Juan José Arias Orozco, the event is part of reading promotion strategies supported by the administration of Governor Indira Vizcaíno Silva and the federal government of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. The sale is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, September 3.
