Colima: Two men killed during armed attack at a wake

Two men were killed during a wake in the Francisco I. Madero neighborhood of Colima. Armed individuals entered a residence on Dalia Street on the night of Sunday, August 23, while family and acquaintances were mourning Alondra “R”, a 32-year-old woman who had been shot and killed two days prior.

Authorities identified one of the victims as Ulises “R”, who was allegedly a member of a criminal group. The second victim was identified as his brother-in-law. No arrests have been reported, and the motive for the attack remains unknown.
