Colin Farrell heads to London to shoot Penguin for The Batman Part II

Actor Colin Farrell confirmed that he will travel to London within the next four to five weeks to film his role as the Penguin in the upcoming sequel, The Batman Part II. In an interview he said, “I will fly to London in four or five weeks. I haven’t got much to do on it, but I’ll be there for a few weeks,” and added that he is excited to see the final product as a fan.

Farrell also praised writer‑director Matt Reeves’s script, calling it “extraordinary” and describing Reeves as “brilliant” who “deeply cares about the stories he tells.” The sequel, starring Robert Pattinson as Batman, is slated for release on October 1 2027 (with some sources noting a September 30 2027 opening).
