Colle di Val d’Elsa installs digital totems for tourism
The municipality of Colle di Val d’Elsa has activated two new digital touchscreen totems to improve tourist and citizen information services. Located at the entrance of the historic center and near a major bus stop, these devices provide access to historical, cultural, and tourist content, as well as information on local services and events.
The installation is part of a six-year agreement with Publi Città S.p.A., which manages the equipment and maintenance. This initiative is a component of a broader reorganization of the city’s tourism reception system. By 2026, the current Tourist Information and Reception Office will relocate to the Museo San Pietro, with a new information point opening at the Museo Archeologico. Additionally, the office in the lower part of the city will move to the Museo del Cristallo, complemented by the reopening of a service kiosk in via Bilenchi.
