Collectibles and micro-art: value in vintage tech and miniature paintings

While rare coins and banknotes can hold significant value, many household items from previous decades have become valuable collectibles. Vintage technology, such as early mobile phones and gaming devices, often commands high prices. For instance, a sealed iPhone 2G can exceed 2,000 euros, while the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x can reach 8,000 euros if well-preserved. Other notable items include various Nokia models and early Ericsson devices.

In the realm of micro-art, painter Stefano Busonero creates miniature masterpieces on coins using a specialized brush made from a single cat hair. Working with oil colors, he has recreated famous works such as Botticelli’s ‘Venus’ and Caravaggio’s ‘Deposition’ on surfaces as small as eight millimeters. His process requires extreme precision, often utilizing stereoscopes and needles to apply paint to microscopic canvases.
