Collectibles market sees growth through Bogotá expo and new Dragon Ball cards
The collectibles and pop culture market continues to expand through specialized events and new product releases. In Bogotá, Colombia, the second edition of the Card Show Expo is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, at the Auditorio Paralelo 108. The fair aims to unite collectors, brands, and enthusiasts of trading card games (TCG) such as Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering, alongside comics and memorabilia.
Exhibits at the Bogotá event include rare items such as a hand-signed Diego Armando Maradona jersey. The expo seeks to foster a growing community in Colombia by providing a visible platform for the exchange and commerce of high-value collectible pieces.
In the card collecting sector, the Dragon Ball franchise is strengthening its presence through the release of the Silver Storm series of Lamincard for Dragon Ball Super. Artist Luciano Costarelli has designed the new collection to pay homage to the original 2006 silver series, utilizing a modernized graphic style that retains elements of the classic cards, such as specific color bars and attack/defense values.
