Collector Mṛṇāl Mīṇā suspends district officer for bribery in Badamalhra, MP

Madhya Pradesh’s new district collector, Mṛṇāl Mīṇā, announced a zero‑tolerance stance on corruption upon taking office in Badamalhra, Chhatarpur district. She immediately ordered the suspension of Dinesh Kumar Dixit, the district programme officer of the Women and Child Development Department, over allegations of demanding a bribe.

The collector forwarded a report to the divisional commissioner, prompting Commissioner Anil Suchari to issue the suspension order. The action cites a possible violation of the Madhya Pradesh Civil Service (Conduct) Rules, 1965, and the suspension will remain in effect while further departmental proceedings are conducted.
