Collectors gather for stamp and postcard events in France

Collectors in France are gathering for regional events focused on philately and cartophily. In Sélestat, the Amicale philatélique et cartophile de Sélestat Centre-Alsace is hosting a sale of stamps, postcards, and old papers at the Sainte-Barbe complex. The event features eight professional merchants and six private individuals, offering opportunities for both beginners and experienced collectors to acquire rare pieces.

In Vittel, the Club cartophile de Vittel recently held its 40th collectors' salon at the Salle du Moulin. The event brought together philatelists, numismatists, and postcard collectors, attracting between 400 and 500 attendees. The salon included 25 exhibitors, such as Lionel Pagliarin, who brought 10,000 postcards from the Vosges region, and featured an exhibition on fantasy postcards.
