Author Colleen Hoover has expressed her support for a potential film sequel to ‘It Ends With Us’, noting that while she does not own the film rights, she would be “fully in favor” of such a project. Despite the legal disputes between director Justin Baldoni and actress Blake Lively following the first film's release, Hoover stated she remains proud of the production and its commercial success.

Hoover is currently focusing on the upcoming film adaptation of her erotic psychological thriller, ‘Verity’. The film stars Dakota Johnson, Josh Hartnett, and Anne Hathaway. While anticipation for the ‘Verity’ adaptation is high, Hartnett shared lighthearted anecdotes regarding his family's reaction to his casting, noting that his goddaughter commented on his age relative to the character.
