College basketball season previews feature North Carolina A&T and Iowa

As the new college basketball season approaches, various programs are preparing for upcoming play.

North Carolina A&T associate head coach Ricky Moore discussed his expectations for the season and reflected on his playing career at UConn. Moore, a former Parade All-American, shared insights on leadership and the evolution of competition levels in youth basketball.

At the University of Iowa, redshirt freshman Trey Thompson is expected to play a significant role for the Hawkeyes. After reclassifying and committing to coach Ben McCollum, Thompson will likely serve as a versatile bench player due to NCAA regulations that required him to redshirt after enrolling in September.
