College Football Coaches Poll: Buckeyes drop to No. 6

The Week 5 College Football Coaches Poll has seen several shifts following recent matchups. The Ohio State Buckeyes dropped one spot to No. 6 despite a 31-14 victory over the No. 14 Iowa Hawkeyes, which served as their first Big Ten road win of the season. Consequently, Iowa fell four spots to No. 18.

Indiana has moved into the top five after defeating Rutgers 47-15. The top four teams—Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Miami—remained unchanged. Alabama maintained its No. 7 ranking following a 56-point performance against Mississippi State.

In other notable results, unranked Michigan did not return to the Top 25 after losing 20-14 to Minnesota. Upcoming marquee matchups for the week include Georgia facing Alabama and Ohio State preparing for a homecoming game against Maryland.
