College Football Comeback Player of the Year watch list announced
The 2026 College Football Comeback Player of the Year preseason watch list has been announced, featuring 94 student-athletes from 59 different schools. The award, presented by the College Sports Communicators in association with the Associated Press and Fiesta Sports Foundation, recognizes players who have overcome injury, illness, or other significant circumstances.
Among the honorees are Mid-American Conference representatives Dorian Pringle and Jadyn Glasser. Pringle, a linebacker for Bowling Green State University, earned the recognition following a season-ending injury that occurred after he led his team in tackles during the first three games. Glasser, a junior quarterback for Central Michigan University, was named to the list after a season-ending injury sidelined him for 11 games during his sophomore year.
