ACC and Big Ten release 2026 college football and basketball schedules

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its 2026 football schedule, featuring 42 early‑season games, including a Week Zero clash between North Carolina and TCU in Ireland and a Virginia‑NC State game in Brazil, with broadcast slots on ESPN, ABC and the ACC Network. The ACC also released basketball opponent line‑ups for Syracuse and Virginia Tech, detailing home‑and‑away rivals and variable opponents for the 2026‑27 season.

Clemson’s four 2026 football games received specific kickoff times and TV assignments, with matchups against LSU, Georgia Southern, North Carolina and California slated for ABC, ACCN and ESPN. Alabama’s first three 2026 football contests were set with times and networks, including an 11:00 a.m. ABC opener versus East Carolina and 2:30 p.m. ABC games against Kentucky and Florida State.

The Big Ten disclosed kickoff times and television partners for Penn State and Michigan State’s opening weeks, naming venues, dates and channels such as FS1, ESPN2, BTN, NBC/Peacock and Fox Sports 1. Texas Tech’s 2026 schedule was also detailed, noting a 6 p.m. CT opening at home against Abilene Christian on Fox Sports 1 and a 6:30 p.m. CT road game at Oregon State on CBS.
