College Football Playoff rankings set to begin next week

The first set of College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings is scheduled to be released next Tuesday. These rankings are considered the primary metric for determining the final field of 12 teams, which will be revealed in early December.

In the ACC, Miami is currently positioned as a playoff-bound team. Wake Forest and SMU are competing for a spot in the title game, with their matchup on November 14 expected to be a decisive factor for the conference. In other conferences, Ohio State and Indiana are noted as being in the mix for playoff contention.
