College football prospects to watch for NFL Draft Week 8

As the NFL season progresses, several college football players are emerging as key prospects for upcoming drafts.

In the defensive line category, Ole Miss edge rusher Blake Purchase is gaining attention for his increasing production and ability to disrupt offensive lines. His athleticism and ability to accelerate toward the quarterback make him a potential target for teams like the Dallas Cowboys seeking consistent pass-rush production.

On the offensive and defensive back sides, several players are highlighted for their specific skill sets:

• Darian Mensah (Quarterback, Miami): Considered a top candidate in a strong quarterback class, Mensah has demonstrated accuracy and decisiveness under pressure. • Kingston Lopa (Safety, Cal): A playmaker with a linebacker’s build, Lopa has recorded five interceptions this season. • KJ Duff (Wide Receiver, Rutgers): A large-framed athlete noted for his ability to separate downfield and dominate physically.
